All CBIP classes and on-site orientation sessions are cancelled until further notice. Please see below for information on temporary phone intake and orientation process to ensure COVID-19 social distancing measures.
At this time all group and orientation payments must be made by check or online using the payment options below. Checks are to be made payable to Safe Voices and mailed to PO Box 713, Auburn, ME 04212.
Alternatives to Abuse is Safe Voices' state-certified Batterer's Intervention Program. This 48-week educational program focuses on accountability for people who use abusive behaviors while teaching healthy relationship skills to replace tactics of abuse. It is certified by the Maine Department of Corrections and participants are referred through the courts, probation, DHHS, or are self-referred. Groups are offered for both men and women. Alternatives to Abuse is the only fee-based service provided by Safe Voices, with a sliding fee scale based on income.
